"National Christmas Center's Christmas Through the Decades" exhibition at the Lancaster Quilt and Textile Museum, in downtown Lancaster, PA, is an annual event.
The seeds of America's Christmas celebrations were planted in Lancaster County. Discover how Lancaster's families observed Christmas in the 1850's continuing through the 1960's. The exhibit features authentic memorabilia showing the wonderful toys, trees, gifts and memories of Christmases past.
See how Christmas customs and traditions changed with each decade as you walk through historically recreated room settings of each time period, accurately furnished and decorated to represent a precious piece of Pennsylvania Christmas history.
